Our Story
Meet the Founders of Metroseen
Mark Montalbano came up with metroseen.com concept at a local coffee house. While discussing with a friend in the film industry the need for businesses to be able to showcase themselves through film, the realization occured that that very coffee house dIdn't even have a website, let alone a video. That led to the "hub" idea, which was the concept that really shot fireworks off in his head. He rode his scooter home as fast it allowed him to go so he could share the idea with his wife, Zoe.
Mark has worked in the Natural Foods Industry for over 16 years. In 2007, he co-founded barackstar08.com - a company with stylish t-shirt designs that have been sold all over the world, and with one intent in mind. Well, you see the result in the Oval Office today. No, Mark doesn't take full credit!
Mark loves to play guitar in his spare-time, cycles, plays basketball and enjoys learning as much as he can about graphic arts.
Zoe Montalbano is co-creator of metroseen.com. Her passion is for the arts, for beautiful cinematography and for love of a good story - in this case, the story of a metro area, and what gives it it's true character. Her collaboration on these ideas has been crucial to metrseen.com's deliverance. She has an an extensive amount of history working in management for retail and business establishments, making her a great resource for helping businesses tell their stories. Zoe founded barackstar08.com, which helped fundraise for the Obama campaign. She started it with one simple t-shirt design, and developed over ten others over the course of the exciting campaign (which she also worked tirelessly on). Her greatest accomplishment has been raising wonderful sons and homeschooling them.
Zoe loves great literature, dance, our boxers, and her Morgan horse, Conrad.
Oh, and of course every business should have a mascot!. Meet Hagen, one of our boxers...!
