MORE ABOUT CLUTTER

We have a great staff of trained employees at Clutter with more than 14 years of consignment experience between us! From all of the items we see on a daily basis, we select quality furniture and home decor that we can put in our store and create interesting and beautiful vignettes. When people come into our store, their eyes light up when they see what we have done with all that we have! You can visit every day and see something new, so we hope to see you often!

We also have an Artist of the Month series where every month we feature a new local artist. We will feature everything from locally made tote bags to jewelry to original art and everything in between. Please come support your local artists!

Patty Ross has been in and around retail just about all of her life. Growing up, she watched and accompanied her Mom and Dad to numerous auctions and garage sales around the State of Michigan buying treasures that they could later sell at antique shows. After graduating from the University of Michigan, she became a store controller for a retail store in Miami, Florida and then changed jobs to become a salesperson for National Cash Register in Atlanta, Georgia.

She “retired” in 1991 to stay home with her 3 daughters and then moved to Boulder in 1996. After spending free time shopping and accumulating, she decided it was time to get a part time job and went to work for a local consignment store, where she learned the consignment business. After 4 years, she decided that it was time to open her own store and with the help of some wonderful women and the support of her husband and children, Clutter was born!

Why buying used is an eco commitment

Used is definitely better in many instances: instead of throwing useful items away, you can resell them for some pocket money. And on top of it all, you're able to help promote a cleaner environment. Many used items are not only much more affordable, they are also equally reliable and carry their own unique, charming history.

Besides, it's such a fun way to recycle!
